Following on from the hugely successful Slim Your Bin Get Composting, Smart Shopping and Getting it Sorted campaigns comes the 2004 campaign, simply called SLIM YOUR BIN. The Slim Your Bin roadshow is the latest bid to cut down the huge amount of household waste that is produced in the Anglia Region.

The campaign focuses on encouraging all of us to reduce our waste by shopping smart, and supporting local kerbside schemes, recycling banks and household-waste recycling sites.

The roadshow aims to encourage everybody to think about the amount of waste they produce and how they can cut that amount down by taking simple steps.

The roadshow: coming to a town near you The Slim Your Bin Recycling roadshow has been spreading the recycling message across the region since 1999, but if you've not visited us yet there are still plenty of chances!

Actress Prunella Scales launched the Getting It Sorted campaign in 2002, so watch out for the launch of the 2004 roadshow coming this April.

To encourage us to recycle Roadshow visiters can take away a Tesco bag-for-life containing loads of useful recycling information,.

The Slim Your Bin roadshow is run by the Anglia Region Waste Awareness Campaign and is supported by the local councils and Anglia Action.
